Spike Lee reveals who might direct George's Lucas' Red Tail
That's the latest anyway, so says Spike Lee in a recent interview with him.
Red Tail is George Lucas' baby on the tail of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first all African-American pilot squad in World War II.
The juice has been going on that Samuel Jackson might be directing it in his debut attempt at directing. But according to Lee, who also mentioned meeting some Tuskegee Airmen recently, a young African-American director by the name of Anthony Hemingway is set to direct.
Hemingway has a record for directing TV - including shows such as CSI:NY, CSI:Miami, ER, Battlestar Galactica and Criminal Minds.
How this pans out for th efilm will be interesting.
