Dry Patch
Hey all hope everyone is well and alive and kicking. Well as the title suggests it been a little dry of late I haven’t seen anything recent apart from Inception which is was awesome so much so I want to watch it again at the cinema and that's rare for me considering I'm a poor uni student watching it the first time meant I missed out on eating lunch the next day or a few less items for grocery shopping that week (I kid but I’m sure there are others for this will be true). But since the general consensus for Inception is relatively the same I feel like writing a review would be pointless, beating a dead horse as they say. So in the lack of movies to watch, that is worth watching does anyone recommend some really cool, unconventional but interesting movies that they would like to share with me? Actually anything really as this point I'm quite stumped.
On to another thing, years ago when I was randomly googling stuff as one does regularly to keep up with the rest of the world, I came upon Cillian Murphy (guy from Red Eye & Inception), I must have googled him. I have to admit I find Cillian quite uniquely attractive; he's what you call an acquired taste. So anyway I find on the sources from IMDb that he was going to star in the film about Salvador Dali and I got excited as a wonderful actor such as Cillian will be in a movie about Dali. I mean I thought this would be for sure a hit. However to my disappointment this movie never came. So for some reason I just remembered about it now and therefore maybe it was released and wasn't a hit than what I originally thought. So I googled Dali and instead I get a youtube trailer on a little known movie called Little Ashes with Robert Pattinson as Dali. I was like what? How come I have never heard of this before considering how famous he has become all his previous works have been out to hang for everyone to see right? It couldn't be new as they would have more media coverage right? Doing a little research I found it was released in 2008, was that before or after Twilight? I don't know but if anyone has seen it drop in a comment and tell us what you think of the movie and of course of RPatts acting skills too.
