911 Conspiracy Film
9/11.
That terrible tragedy. And the can of worms behind it.
It’s one thing if it was a simple case of good vs evil. Then maybe we’d have some patience as to the toll it has taken. But really, deep down inside, do we actually think it was a case of good vs evil?
Most people don’t want to go through the tedious work of skimming reports, articles and what nots over the truth behind 911. Yet, we do want to know what’s going on. (It may even affect who gets the Oval office in November).
Then out of the blue, came Able Danger.
It’s a movie, only scarier than Final Destination. Because it’s based on reality… and the reality of 9/11.
But didn’t Michael Moore cover that already? On the contrary, Michael Moore’s documentary just whets the appetite for the main course.
Artistically inclined, it opts for the classic noir feel rather than go for the hardsell conspiracy approach. It’s gripping, like how a film should be… but you walk away with something real.
It’s already making waves in the film festival circuit and people are talking. This could be the next big thing. When people stop making mindless films and start making films that tell a story. Tell a story that matters.
(And hey, the posters cool).
When the DVD comes out, it’s heading straight for my DVD collection where it’ll sit pretty between my Schindler’s List, United 93 movies and Fahrenheit 911, City of God documentaries.
Can't wait!
